Day two

So um....as of today, 2012 isn't much different than 2011.

Cynical?
Maybe.

But, as I told a friend today ... yesterday really just felt like a Sunday. Granted it was a Sunday when we stuffed ourselves with prime rib and scalloped oysters at my parents' house ... but other than that? Just a Sunday.

Not sure what I was expecting, quite frankly.

Maybe I was hoping for some drastic-in-your-face-this-is-a-new-year kind of thing.

Nope.
Didn't happen.

Guess I need to add "be more patient" to my list of "resolutions."
