So apparently it's going to SNOW.
This should not be "big" news, considering we live in OHIO.
And it is January.
But given that it really hasn't snowed all winter - and the temps have been relatively steady in the mid-40s, I guess the fact that OH MY GOODNESS A FEW INCHES OF SNOW IS ON THE WAY is enough to make news.
Me?
I'm not shocked about the forecast.
It's winter.
It snows during the winter months in Ohio.
Get a grip people. (Yes, this means you, weather forecasters).
Oh and for those of you who will be venturing out in your cars tonight or tomorrow - please remember how to drive in the snow. You've lived her long enough to know - and not forget - simply road safety when there is snow and ice involved. And, just because you have a Jeep (or any other 4-wheel drive vehicle) does not mean you get to be a jerk.
And now if you'll excuse me, I need to go prep my winter storm preparedness kit.
...we had our first "real" snow of the winter today here in St. Louis. It was a disaster. It was only about an inch, but the ice and wind made it worse...the street crews would clear the roads, then the winds would blow it back over and it would freeze. The weather forecasters and news reporters were going crazy, and everyone suddenly forgot how to drive!!! Our high temperatures were in the seventies over the last week or so...the temperature right now is 14. 14. I want to move back to Florida!!!
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. Our "real feel" temp is 7 right now. No snow yet (as of 10:30 pm) but it's so windy. I want to move to Florida! :)
