Remembering 9/11

Do you remember what you were doing when you first heard the news?

I was sitting at my desk, going through my daily emails when the office secretary stuck her head in my door and said "a plane just hit the World Trade Center." Until that day I had never given much thought to the Twin Towers.

As the morning unfolded, my co-workers and I watched in horror as the second plane hit the towers. Then we watched the towers crumble to back to Earth...all the while not believing what we were seeing.

And now five years later, let us not forget what we lost that day. Let us remember the heros. Let us never forget.
