Yeah, you read that right.
Good ol' T-town was up for this "award" to be named one of the "most liveable" cities in the world (the city was in the 200,000-750,00 population category).
Shockingly (or not), Toledo lost to Malmo, Sweden (1st place) and Lyon, France (2nd place). That's right...the Glass City came in 3rd. See here.
However, the mayor's office has put their own spin on it, claiming that Toledo is the most liveable city in all of North America. Now that's some serious spin!
Only in T-town folks, only here.
That's cool if you ask me. Now, we just have to use our water front and pay our employees a decent salary.
