Kevin and I are having (yet another) garage sale today. In the five years we've been together, we've had several. It's uncanny the amount of crap we have to sell.
Our first sale was pre-marriage -- just to clean out the house of any duplicates and the remainders of his "bachelor days" furniture. (He still misses his "world" art -- this horrible, three-part, black and gold rendition of the world. UGH!)
Then, we had a post-marriage sale....to make room for the new stuff. Then we had a garage sale after Olivia was born...to make more room for her stuff. Then we had one last year before we moved...to sell off stuff that we weren't taking to the new house.
Apparenlty, we didn't sell it all, because our garage is full of crap yet again this morning. All for sale. Cheap. Whatever we don't sell during the next two days will either be (1) donated or (2) set out at the curb at our city's "fall unlimited trash day."
I'm hoping to make around $150 -- it will be going toward bedding and stuff for Bean's nursery.
