I just don't understand it.
Another Hollywood star is dead. Heath Ledger apparently overdosed or committed suicide or something. 28 years old, Oscar nominee and now he's joined the ranks of River Phoenix, Brad Renfro, Chris Farley and all the other young, talented stars who died too soon.
I just don't understand why/how this continues to happen. Do they think they are invincible? Do they think their fame and fortune will shield them from the horrors of drug abuse or accidental overdoses? Do they think at all?
Ledger had a promising career ahead of him. Hell, he was only 28. His work in "Brokeback Mountain" was amazing. He is starring in what could be a summer blockbuster - the next Batman movie (he plays The Joker). And, he has a 2-year-old daugther. Who will now grow up without a daddy.
I just don't understand it.

I think this goes to show us that Hollywood is not real. People are not real, lives are not real, and they are not happy. Money does not buy happiness.
