First day of summer Friday's Feast

Appetizer: If you could live on another continent for 1 year, which one would you choose?
Europe probably. Or maybe Australia.

Soup: Which browser do you use to surf the Internet?
Internet Explorer.

Salad: On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being highest), how much do you know about the history of your country?
7 or 8 probably. History is one of my favorite topics.

Main Course: Finish this sentence: Love is…
My daughters.

Dessert: Have you ever been in or near a tornado?
Never in. And I don't think I've ever been near one either. At least not in CLOSE proximity.

  1. Appetizer: Australia. So I could start saying "mate" as if it were just a normal part of my vocabulary.

    Soup: Internet Explorer.

Salad: 2. I wasn't a very good history student in high school. Was more concerned with passing notes to my boyfriend and best friend. And, our history teacher was bad ... he was the high school football coach, so we pretty much just watched movies during football season, he didn't do much teaching. Although, I do remember that he was the only teacher who would let us eat and drink in his class. I'd have a bag of popcorn and a Coke at 9:30 a.m. with the "history" movie. I remember that, but not who was president in 1921.

    Main Course: Love is…
... in the laughter of children.

Dessert: No, but I think I was in a past life, because I am really scared by storms.

    Love is...:
Love is what makes our time here on earth so very special and meaningful.

    Tornado:
Yes. I visited my brothers and family in Iowa and there was a tornado that went right through where we were. Not too much damage. I went upstairs and actually saw it (i know not safe). Though I realize how dangerous they are, it is truly fascinating to me. I was also in a hurricane in FL, Charlie I think.

  8. Continent:
Europe. I would travel around from country to country.

    Internet Browser:
Mozilla Firefox mostly. I only use Internet Explorer when I want to watch movies online at Netflix.

    History:
I would normally say around a 7, but after spending time with my boyfriend and my friend Josh, I feel like a 4. They are the epitome of history freaks.

    Love is...
    ...multidimensional.

    Tornado:
Not really. There have been tornadoes in the area, but not close to me, thank God.
