An Olympic Feast

Appetizer: Which do you prefer, Summer or Winter Olympics?

Soup: What is your favorite Olympic moment?

Salad: Have you ever been to the Olympics - either as a participant or a fan?

Main Course: If you could play one Olympic sport, what would it be?

Dessert: How many medals do you think the U.S.A. will win this summer?

OK...that's the feast for this week. Enjoy the opening cermonies tonight -- on tape -- since I think it's already tomorrow in Beijing! I hate when the games are in a time zone that is almost a whole day ahead of us!

  2. 1. Prefer the winter

    2. I honestly don't pay enough attention to the Olympics to have a favorite moment. I know, I am not human.

    3. I was so close to qualifying back in 2006 for the curling team but just missed it. So no I have never been, thanks for bringing it up. ;)

    4. I would love to do snowboarding....that looks like fun!

    5. Really don't pay much attention, whatever number is alot.

  6. Appetizer: Summer!

Soup: I'm going general here: the second a gymnast lands his/her routine; the second a swimmer touches the wall at the end of a race; the second a diver hits the water - I love the look on their faces when they complete a solid performance.

Salad: No, but it'd sure be cool.

Main Course: Gymnastics, specifically the uneven bars.

    Dessert: 111

  7. Summer or winter: I think I like summer better. (In the winter, I'd probably say winter. I just LOVE the Olympics period.)

Favorite moment: Yikes, how to pick just one. The Keri Strug moment is tough to beat (SHE'S the one who landed on one ankle). I also remember when Greg Louganis hit his head (although not a happy moment) and I'd have to say last night's relay was pretty fantastic.

Ever been?: No, but I know someone who is a volunteer in Beijing right now. Here's her blog for anyone interested. http://www.bingenuity.com/category/beijing/

Play a sport: Gymnastics and diving.

    How many medals: One million.
