Wisdom via Starbucks

This was on my Starbucks cup today:

"The world bursts at the seams with people ready to tell you you're not good enough. On occasion, some may be correct. But do not do their work for them. Seek any job; ask anyone out; pursue any goal. Don't take it personally when they say "no" - they may not be smart enough to say "yes."
- Keith Olberman, broadcast journalist and host of MSNBC's "Countdown with Keith Olberman"

I think that's great wisdom.

  3. Have you seen the catfights that Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews have been getting into lately? Wow! I can't stand either of them, so I find it hilarious.

  5. I have a Starbucks cup with that exact quote sitting on my desk here. R. picked it up on one of his most recent trips because he liked the quote.

    So true.

  6. Yay! Keith makes a Starbux cup! Now all we need is a quote from Rachel Maddow and I'd have myself a mini cup collection. Julia even knows who Rachel is and she's taken to saying her name every time she sees her on tv. If only she could vote in the election...
