Obama for president

We stood in line for about 30 minutes
before we made it to the security check-in.
Olivia's 'Future President' shirt received many compliments.

Obama. 1:30 p.m.
He unveiled his new economic plan.
The best part of the day?
Sharing it with my kids.
Olivia was so excited about it.
"We need to watch Action News tonight, mama."
That's a direct quote from Olivia at dinner tonight.
A budding journalist perhaps?

  1. Wow, that is awesome that Olivia said that! I'm glad that your children got to experience that; they are in their way informed and I think that you're never too young to start learning about the world.

  2. That's really cool. I wish he would come to our area, but we're too much of a Republican state. No battle ground here.

  3. I do like Olivia's t-shirt. Even if you are corrupting her otherwise ;-)

Seriously, I think it's fantastic to get kids involved in the political process. I wish it would've been "cooler" and that I would've been more informed as a young person.

  4. That's awesome...for so many reasons. My friend that works at SeaGate actually got to meet Obama, shake hands with him and talk to him for a minute. I begged her to post the pic today.
