Smells like...a summer vacation!

I like my house to smell good. But between two dogs, one cat, one guinea pig, two kids and my husband...that is sometimes a challenge. So I invest in candles and scented plug ins and air freshener sprays. One might say I'm mildly obsessed with scented things around the house.

Normally I'm a "spice" and "baking" kind of scent girl. I like candles that smell like cookies or cake or coffee. At the holidays I like cinnamon (but only at the holidays). But recently I had the chance to try out the new Glade Expressions products and I have to say I'm in love with the Pineapple and Mangosteen scented oil diffuser.

I originally put the diffuser in our downstairs bathroom, but the scent was competing with two other "spicy" plug ins so I moved it to the girls' bathroom upstairs. And now, as I sit in the home office I'm smelling the lovely (and light) scent of pineapple and enjoying visions of our cruise vacation to the Caribbean. Believe me...on this cold and snowy day that is a good vision to have!

There are other scents in the Glade Expression line including Lavender and Juniper Berry and Fuji Apple and Cardamom Spice. And while I am also trying the Fuji Apple Fragrance Mist, my favorite is the springy and tropical Pineapple and Mangosteen. Oh, and in case you're wondering "what the heck is Mangosteen?"...it's a tropical evergreen tree. I know this because I Google'd it.

The other thing I love about the Glade Expressions oil diffuser is how pretty and simple the design is. It's just a lovely modern bamboo holder and the oil diffuser and screen fit right in. That's it - and the scent should last for 30 days. Oh, and the fragrance mist comes in a refillable canister. The best part about the canister is the label is removable so it fits in the decor of any room.
