Must see TV

If you have four hours tomorrow night, I suggest spending them watching "When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts" on HBO. It will be time well-spent.

I watched it last week. By the end of the four hour Spike Lee documentary, you will be sad, furious and in total disbelief that the United States treated their own citizens with such a total lack of compassion.

A year later, it is still difficult to believe that our own government completely abandoned the citizens of New Orleans (and other Gulf Coast areas) in their time of need.

As I said, watch the documentary. You will be moved.

  1. I'd like to see this documentary. I've heard nothing but rave reviews.

And I agree, my heart goes out to the folks in the Gulf area. Unbelievable.
