It's Friday!!! That means, it's "Feast" time!

Appetizer: What is your favorite carnival/amusement park ride?
I used to really like roller coasters -- but it's been about 6 years since I rode one.

Soup: How do you react in uncomfortable social situations?
I usually try to lighten the situation with appropriate humor.

Salad: On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how much do you enjoy discussing deep, philosophical topics?
Probably a 4 or 5.

Main Course: Did you get a flu shot this year? If not, do you plan to?
Yes, I got one on Tuesday and my arm still hurts!

Dessert: Approximately how many hours per week do you spend watching television?
Maybe 10 - 12 hours -- there isn't anything good on anymore, so I don't watch much TV.

Join in the fun!!!

  1. (I HAD to do this before I left...)

Amusement park: I hate roller coasters. I do enjoy Disney World, though.

Uncomfortable social situation: I, too, try to diffuse with humor. If it's not possible, I walk away.

Philosophical: It depends. Life, why we're on earth - 10. Molecules and nature - 2.

Flu shot - Um, no. They're not passing those out here right now.

T.V. - Hmmmm... It's background noise in the evening. I'd say 1-2 hours a day.

  2. Carnival/Amusement Ride: I really used to love that spinning thing where the floor dropped (don't think they make them), but roller coasters are fun now (used to be deathly afraid)
Social Situations: i'm the one that usually makes an ass out of myself by either saying the absolute WRONG thing or spilling something. then everyone else feels better about themselves. humor is useful too.
Flu Shot: yes, but wish i hadn't. peer pressure got the best of me.
    TV: about 3 - 4 a week. max.

  3. Amusement Parks: I LOVE the scrambler! Anything that goes in circles is way fun! (not a fan of roller coasters)

Social Situations: I tend to start scratching my ear or arm when I get uncomfortable and then say something stupid to try to lighten the mood.

Topics: I would say a 9. I can't talk about that stuff all the time, I need mindless conversation to balance it out...but that is what first attracted me to my husband, his philisophical talks on different subjects. I really like expressing my opinion and learning and listening to the opinions of others in that way!

Flu shot: Nope, haven't in many years.

TV: Ok, I am embarrassed but during the week I would say 4 hours a day. It is on when I get home and on till I go to bed. Sometimes it is just background noise, but I watch alot of TV.

  4. Amusement park: The scariest roller coaster available. (though I guess its been a number of years)

social situation: talk, sarcasm, or just be totally silent. (whichever is most called for)

Philosophical: 2. Bores me to death. And drives me nuts when people debate.

Flu shot: No because the past few years I get sick for a few days after. I'll take my chances.

T.V.: Maybe 5-6 per week. Not counting cartoons that my daughter has on half the day.
