1. I wanted to be a news anchor
ReplyDelete2. I am an editor and media relations person in marketing at BGSU
3. Best job: the one I have right now. Worst job: telemarketing when I was in college.
4. My dream job: syndicated columnist
5. I was a gift wrapper at Jacobson's when I was in college. Every Christmas. For at least 3 years. All I did was put ribbons on gift boxes...and I got paid for it.
Appetizer: I think I wanted to be a cheerleader.
ReplyDeleteSoup: Communications
Salad: I don't know about 'best' job. I have to think about that one. Worst job was an internship in public relations at a hospital. I didn't have a workspace, so I did most of my work while sitting in a hallway. I used my boss' computer while she was at lunch for layout. Grr.
Main Course: To own a book/craft/resale store/hangout/bakery shop. My vision is that people can come in and sit in big comfy chairs to read or write or draw while drinking delicious beverages and eating yummy snacks. Others can scrapbook or craft away at tables (while eating, of course). Both groups can buy used items (books, craft supplies) that customers can sell consignment-style.
Dessert: It's not odd or strange, but I worked at GM for awhile. It was awful.
wanted to be when i grew up: i had NO idea, still don't, but PROBABLY a teacher. i was a girl coming of age in the 80's.
ReplyDeletecurrent career: i'm an assistant director of college counseling at a a boarding school (previously in college admissions and have a masters in social work)
best job ever had: i LOVED being an admissions counselor. oh and i enjoyed working at starbucks.
dream job: owning my own business or being a bartender or something that i do NOT have to take home with me when i leave the office.
strangest job ever had: first job was a dishwasher, spent one summer as a telemarketer - i hated those jobs.
A. - i would visit your store all the time! :)

3. Best Job/Worst Job?
The best job was an internship during the summer in Floridia. I got to stay at the resort all summer, we worked with kids all day, got to do things I never thought I would do and had a blast working! Worst job was when I worked on the janitorial staff for a semester at BGSU. Cleaning dorm bathrooms - um BARF.
4. Dream Job?
I mean if we are talking what I want to do, but will probably never it would have to be some kind of travel writer/food writer. But if we are talking about the dream I am trying to actually accomplish currently in my life time it would be to work in a College in the Student Activities Department. I am just one damn masters degree away from doing that.
5. Strangest Job? hmmm...I don't know. I did work at a telemarketing place calling people to ask them to do a survey about a hospital in Lima...that was weird.
